CWU Leaders Attend Inauguration of Practical Base

Wang Lian, vice-president of China Women's University (CWU), led a delegation to participate in the opening ceremony of the university's practice base.

The delegation included directors of the Teaching Affairs Office, the Department of Computer Science and the Quality Supervision Department. 

They visited CWU's interns at a mobile Internet company and communicated with the managers. Wang Lian and Wang Guochun, CEO of the practice base, unveiled the plaque for the practical base.

During the inauguration, Wang Lian introduced CWU's development history, fully affirmed the two sides' school-enterprise cooperation mechanism and hoped to  create more favorable conditions for female IT talents.

Wang Guochun outlined the development history of the company and expressed his hope that CWU could send more talents to the company while focusing on students' innovation and entrepreneurship. 

After the ceremony, the two sides discussed and exchanged opinions on the development of university students' innovative entrepreneurship and the construction of a university laboratory. Both are willing to work together to promote students innovation, develop their practical abilities and explore a new-type of school-enterprise cooperation model.

The Computer Science Department has built a cooperation with the company and sent several batches of students since 2015. The inauguration will promote the process of school-enterprise cooperation, reinforce CWU's education system and enrich its female talents strategy, CWU leaders said.
