The event provided a platform for young teachers to show their advanced teaching skills, improve their classroom teaching quality and reinforce their basic teaching ability. CWU issued a circular in March, mobilizing teachers from different schools and departments to participate in the contest.
Fifteen teaching staff participated in the university's 7th basic skill contest for young teachers on April 7.
During the competition, Lu's exquisite coursework, dignified manners, great passion and meticulous classroom design were highly appreciated by the attendees. She showed good professional qualities and solid teaching skills.
After several rounds of review by the judges, CWU leaders decided to recommend Lu Ping to compete in the 10th Basic Skill Contest for Young Teachers in Beijing.
The event was co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Educational Labor Union, the BMEC and the Higher Education Institutions Teacher Online Training Center, aiming to improve young teachers' professional quality and teaching skills. It is an important step for the university to improve teaching quality, optimize the structure of teaching staff and increase teaching efficiency, organizers said.
