CWU Holds Conference to Prepare for Upcoming Undergraduate Teaching Evaluation Work
China Women's University (CWU) held a conference on October 24 to interpret the undergraduate teaching evaluation report.
Professor Zhou Yingjiang, as team leader of the Report on the Self Evaluation of CWU Undergraduate Teaching Work, made an in-depth interpretation of the report.
Zhou briefly introduced the basic information about the report, including the role of the report, writing requirements, framework and ideas. Then, he further explained the CWU's current situation, educational targets, teaching staff and resources, personnel training and the development of students, as well as CWU feature projects. He also put forward some constructive suggestions on how to study the self-assessment report.
Li Mingshun, secretary of CWU's Party Committee, attended the event and made a concluding speech. He hoped all staff members could combine the Chinese Dream with the CWU Dream, carrying forward the spirits of self-respect, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement and preparing well for the evaluation work so as to implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with excellent work performances.
Li also put forward a series of requirements on the evaluation work at the event.
Another training on the preparation for the upcoming inspection was also held for CWU functional departments on the same day.
Wang Lian, vice-president of CWU, arranged preparation work before the inspection team arrived at the university, as well as following up on issues related to processes, contents and methods of the assessment.
Wang stressed that the relevant functional departments should comprehensively understand the work of their own departments, paying attention to personnel cultivation and preparing well for the inspection group.
Wang also put forward a series of demands in terms of studying the evaluation report, CWU's chapters, the 13th Five-Year Plan, the report to the National Party Congress and comprehensive reform plan.
