CWU Kicks Off 2017 Freshmen Registration

 September 14, 2017

China Women's University (CWU) officially commence the 2017 freshmen registration work on September 12.

Real-time Update of Data

For the first time, CWU employed information technology to help freshmen register, pay tuition fees and choose dormitories in a digital way. Students can register their personal information, pay fees, apply for green channel and admission, and choose dormitories via their own computers and mobile phones before entering school.

The system can automatically generate students' numbers and students can check up their personal payment situations, admission processes and arrangements, as well as access the basic information of the university's surroundings.

The digital system simplifies the work flow and pressure, and covers the overall situation of freshmen's admission and payment, which has also brought a brand-new experience for students.

Student-Oriented Arrangement

All departments of CWU cooperated closely with each other so as to ensure the admission work was carried out in an orderly manner.

Staff at reception patiently answered questions from freshmen and their parents, and volunteers enthusiastically introduced campus life and study experiences to the newcomers.

The school also opened a "green channel" to help students with financial difficulties enter school smoothly.

Care from CWU Leaders

Li Mingshun, secretary of CWU Party Committee, and CWU Vice-Presidents Liu Meng and Sun Jianbei visited the working staff and had cordial talks with the freshmen. Leaders also communicated with the students on their family situations and provided "love packages" for poverty-stricken students.

Considerate Services

CWU arranged over 50 free shuttles for students and their parents to sub-campuses.

On the same day, meetings were held at the sub-campuses for welcoming all the new students and arranging relevant work follow-up.

The new students have brought fresh energy and blood to CWU and they will begin their wonderful university lives. All CWU teaching staff wish them study well, live happily and have a brilliant future.
