China Women's University (CWU) held a wrap-up session for innovation and entrepreneurship education on November 14.

The event was co-organized by CWU's Talent Cultivation Committee and the Employment and Entrepreneurship Committee.

CWU Vice-President Wang Lian presided over the meeting. Directors of the Teaching Affairs Office and the Employment and Entrepreneurship Center made summary reports.

In recent years, CWU has attached great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education for female college students, set up a leading group for innovation and entrepreneurship education, and established a relatively complete training system for innovative and pioneering female students. The system includesmechanism support, training objectives, qualified teachers, a rich curriculum, practical incubators, teaching materials development, teaching methods reform, creation of atmosphere, information exchange and experience dissemination.

Li Mingshun, director of the Board of Talent Cultivation and the Employment and Entrepreneurship Committee, made concluding remarks. He pointed out that the university has constructed an innovative and entrepreneurial structure model for undergraduates which was co-supported by the Teaching Affairs Office, the Employment and Career Guidance Center, the School of Management and the Youth League Committee.

The management model contributes to strengthening female students' innovative awareness, cultivating their creative spirit and fulfilling the unified talent cultivation system, Li added.

The innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum covers all undergraduates and runs through the entire process of talent cultivation. At the same time, Li also put forward several requirements, including further studying the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship education and the cultivation of the "four self" spirits, motivating teachers to support college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as integrating more resources to build incubation bases for female students.
