CWU Hosts Meeting to Wish Former Staff a Happy Life

China Women’s University (CWU) hosted an event to honor recently retired staff on January 9, organized by the institution’s Labor Union, Department of Personnel and Office for Retirees.

Vice president of the university Wang Jingxia hosted the event, which was also attended by Li Mingshun, secretary of the Party committee; CWU President Liu Liqun; staff who retired in 2017; and representatives from different departments.

Liu said the retirees played an important role in the construction and development of the university. They have devoted themselves to the school and completed their responsibilities and missions outstandingly, she added.

Even though they have left their posts, their conscientiousness and dedication will continue to influence future generations, Liu said in tribute.

Retiree representatives also gave speeches to express their gratitude and affection for the school and their peers, and send their best wishes for the school’s future development.

The director of the Office for Retirees, along with other staff, also gave speeches and delivered their best wishes, hoping that the former staff enjoy a happy life, pleasant mood and good health in their new life after retirement.
