The School of Art and Design at China Women's University (CWU) won an award for its outstanding achievements in the work of talent cultivation at a release ceremony of sportswear held on the sidelines of this year's China Graduate Fashion Week at 751D • PARK in Beijing.

China Graduate Fashion Week, which was organized by the China Fashion Association (CFA) in the capital city from May 13 to 20, drew the attendance of 1,468 students from 54 key universities of fashion and arts at home and abroad.

Organizers designated the release ceremony's theme as "on the road" and intended to further inspire college students to make innovative exploration of sportswear design amid the rising popularity of healthy lifestyles and diversified trends of relevant consumption amongst the public.

The release ceremony featured sportswear in connection with tennis, running, basketball, cycling, travel, and hip-hop.

Meanwhile, attendees also presented their themed designs of derivative products for the upcoming 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup.

Zhao Jie and Dai Na, two students from CWU's School of Art and Design, received the Market Potential award for their designs at the event.
