CWU Holds Commencement Ceremony

China Women's University (CWU) held a commencement ceremony for its graduates in the assembly hall on June 29.
CWU Vice-President Liu Meng presided over the event.
All graduates from various schools and departments entered the assembly hall with a broad smile on their faces.
After watching a video clip, which recaptured the scenes of graduates' campus life, Wang Jingxia, Wang Lian and Sun Jianbei, all of whom are vice-presidents of CWU, read separate announcements about the presentation of academic degrees, the number of this year's graduates, and outstanding graduates.
Sun Xiaomei, a teacher at the university, extended best wishes to graduates on behalf of her colleagues in a speech at the gathering.
In her address to graduates, CWU President Liu Liqun reviewed students' achievements and campus life. She called on them to carry forward the university's revolutionary traditions and historical missions and work hard to fulfill their personal aspirations.
For their part, all graduates pledged that they would be loyal to the nation and its people and strive for the realization of national rejuvenation.
Those present at the ceremony included Li Mingshun, secretary of the CWU Party Committee; heads of various schools and departments; secretaries of Party branches in various schools and departments; student counselors, head counselors, academic supervisors, and parent representatives of graduates.
