CWU Holds Flag-raising Ceremony to Mark New Semester

China Women's University (CWU) held a flag-raising ceremony on its campus on September 3 to mark the beginning of a new academic semester.
The ceremony drew the attendance of staff from the CWU committee of the Communist Youth League (CYL), students from different schools and departments, and their counselors.
Liu Wenrong, secretary of the CYL branch of the CWU School of Law, presided over the gathering.
Speaking with attendees at the event, Chen Lijun, vice-director of the CWU Student Affairs Office, conveyed her greeting and best wishes to them and extended her congratulations to sophomores for their resettlement into the main campus.
Chen summed up the university's achievements over the past year. She called on all students to work hard in their academic studies, become more mature in their outlooks, and fulfill their duties in the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
Ying Liqiong, vice-secretary of the CWU committee of the CYL, talked with participants at the gathering about how to conduct their academic studies and engage in independent thinking as well as in social practice, and urged them to strive for high achievements.
