On October 11, China Women's University (CWU) convened a meeting to make an arrangement of its implementation of the recently introduced accounting system for governmental departments and public institutions.

Mao Qi, director of the CWU Department of Finance, presided over the gathering.

Speaking at the event, CWU vice-president Sun Jianbei talked about the importance and social background of the formulation of the latest accounting system for governmental bodies and public institutions.

She put forward detailed requirements about the university's work on the topic in terms of reviewing its assets, clearing accounts receivable and payable, regulating contract management, and accelerating the pace of IT building.

Moreover, she urged all relevant departments to strengthen their cooperation with the Department of Finance in the completion of relevant tasks in the process.

Mao gave an interpretation of relevant documents and highlighted key issues facing the university in the implementation of the accounting system for governmental departments and public institutions.

According to organizers, the accounting system would help the university present a scientific report of its financial activities, further increase its competence in the management of financial affairs, and guarantee the sound development of every affair on campus.

Those present at the meeting were members of the leadership committee for the implementation of the accounting system for governmental departments and public institutions and employees from the Department of Finance.
