CWU Party Chief Lectures Freshmen on Orientating to Campus Life

Li Mingshun, secretary of the Party Committee of China Women's University (CWU), held lectures on the campuses of Huijia School and the Commercial School of CWU on October 22 and 25 to motivate first-year students on getting the most out of their college life.
Ding Xinya, director and secretary of the Party Committee at the CWU's north campus; and, Guo Chunhong, director of the CWU's Commercial School, presided over the lectures respectively.
At the gatherings, Li conveyed the spirit of the national education conference and the important decisions made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with President Xi Jinping at its core, as well as the arrangements made on education and reform, since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.
Li shared his feelings and experiences about attending the Beijing Municipal Education Conference and urged them to closely follow the spirit of both conferences and maintain an all-round development.
Moreover, he emphasized that college students should stick to following the correct values, learn to tell right from wrong, make plans for their future life and career, work hard in their academic studies and strengthen their personal moral education.
In his speech, Li said all female students are expected to become outstanding women with a global perspective, philanthropic awareness and great elegance.
For their part, attendees replied that they clearly understood what they should learn and what kind of dreams they should pursue in their future campus life. They said they would contribute unique efforts to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation and the future development of their university.
