China Women's University (CWU) held the 36th edition of its "CWU President Hours" activity on November 21.
For the event, Ren Cuiru, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CWU, spoke with a group of students about their academic studies and campus life.
Students from various schools and departments attended the event.
Some students shared their personal views about the recently concluded week-long internship session, and put forward questions on how to further deepen their involvement in practical activities and asked whether the internship could be prolonged.
Other attendees voiced their concern about measures to limit students' use of electricity in dormitories and having to book seats at the library in advance.
Moreover, some participants spoke on how to better allocate their time between professional courses and classes they are taking to pursue a second academic degree.
For her part, Ren encouraged students to help fully realize the so-called "two Centenary Goals", embrace challenges and opportunities, acquire more academic knowledge and enhance personal professional competence as well as skills.
In addition, she said she expects them to make a scientific schedule of their academic studies and rest time, and take part in more extracurricular activities designed to help them learn about national and social affairs, boost personal competence, and enhance their philanthropic and awareness of charities.
Finally, several students said the event helped them have a clear understanding of personal targets, hold a firm belief in their faith, and learn more about college life.
