On November 13, China Women's University (CWU) held a job fair on campus for its fourth-year students.

The recruitment event drew the attendance of 90 large-scale enterprises and public institutions, which included China Minsheng Bank (CMB), China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China Merchants Bank, New Oriental School and China International Travel Service.

They brought with them 1,106 job vacancies, which covered all majors or disciplines in the university.

CWU Vice-President Wang Lian talked with enterprise representatives about their labor demands.

Meanwhile, along with student counselors, Party branch secretaries from the Department of Recruitment and Employment, the Student Career and Entrepreneurship Center, and all affiliated schools recommended outstanding students to employers at the gathering.

Moreover, the CWU also invited professionals from Shengshi Group, Air China and the CMB to lecture its students on writing their resumes, the presentation of their personal image, the observance of public etiquette, and the cultivation of positive values in a bid to facilitate more successful applications.

Attending enterprises received a total of 1,348 applications and over 600 students entered into the second round of interviews.

Statistics show that education, finance, and information technology were the top three most popular industries amongst job seekers at the event.
