CWU Celebrates New Year with Exhibition

A photography, calligraphy and painting exhibition celebrating the Year of the Pig and the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up kicked off at China Women's University in Beijing on January 8.
The exhibition collected more than 400 photography, calligraphy and painting works from the faculty.
Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party committee of the CWU and its president Liu Liqun attended the opening together with all CWU leaders, creators of the artworks and members of the faculty union born in the Year of the Pig.

At the opening, Li sent New Year's greetings to the faculty and union members of the university on behalf of the Party committee and administrative executives, saying that he hoped all the students and faculty members will follow the country's development and pursue their dreams.
Before the exhibition, the CWU leaders met with 43 faculty members who were born in the Year of the Pig.
After the opening, faculty members voted for their favorite creations. A group of 10 winners will be selected to receive the exhibition's honor of "Top 10 Artistic Works,"
