ACWF Appoints Li Mingshun as Member of Expert Think Tank
Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Women's University (CWU), was appointed by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) as a member of its think tank on family-oriented affairs on May 15.
Li is one of the first group of the expert think tank.
The meeting was held to celebrate the arrival of the annual International Day of Families, and to launch a campaign designed to promote the happiness and health of millions of households, and unveil 999 most beautiful families in China in this year.
Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress and President of the ACWF, presided over the meeting.
Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, spoke at the meeting to announce arrangements for the federation's major work in the coming months.
Cai Shumin, Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, introduced the newly launched campaign.
Zhang Xiaolan, Tan Lin and Wu Haiying, , full-time e vice-presidents of the ACWF, Cheng Hong, Song Yushui and Liu Yang, part-time vice-presidents of the ACWF, Zhang Dongmei, Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF attended the meeting. Officials from the General Office of the Central Commission for Guiding Cultural and Ethical Progress, the State Organs Work Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, provincial-level women's federations and the Women's Federation of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps and professors in the fields of family education and family traditions also attended the event.
