CWU Launches Educational Activity

An educational activity with the theme of Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind was launched by the China Women's University (CWU) on September 12. The spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the working conference with the theme of Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Keeping Our Mission Firmly in Mind Was conveyed and taught during the meeting.

Cai Shumin, Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), delivered a speech at the meeting. She stressed that Party members and Party organizations at all levels in the CWU should conscientiously study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech.

"We should keep firmly in mind the consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment. We should uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping's core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and uphold the Party Central Committee's authority and its centralized, unified leadership," Cai stressed.

"We should enhance the sense of responsibility and mission in carrying out thematic education. We should fully implement the fundamental task of studying and implementing Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, fully aim to educate talents for the Party and the nation. We should iintegrate education, investigation and research, the examination of problems, rectification and implementation of the four key measures, and promote high-quality thematic education. We should promote thematic education to gain through theoretical learning and to better serve people and help them solve problems. We should solve the problems in the construction of the Party organizations at grassroots level and the prominent problems in teachers' team building, ideological work and student associations. We should focus on solving the crucial problems that influence and restrict the reform and development of our school," she said.

"We should strengthen the work-style construction. We should oppose formalism, bureaucracy, and test the results of thematic education with the feelings of teachers and students," she added.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, delivered speech at the meeting. Liu Liqun, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, hosted the meeting.
