CWU Holds Training Course for Party Branch Secretaries

The China Women's University (CWU) held training course with the theme of "Staying true to our original aspiration and keeping our mission firmly in mind" on October 15-16. Forty-seven secretaries and deputy secretaries of the Party branches of the CWU attended the course.
Li Songlin, former President of the Marxism College of Capital Normal University and Head of the Research Base of Ideological and Political Theory Teaching of Beijing Universities, explained the original aspiration, missions and experience of the Communist Party of China in different periods, saying that striving for the happiness of the Chinese people and revitalization of the Chinese nation are the original aspiration and mission of the CPC.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, spoke about political construction, the Party's political leadership, the improvement of political capacity and related topics on October 15.
He urged that ideological and political education should be integrated into moral education, cultural education and social practice, so that ideological and political work runs through the whole process of education.

The secretaries of the Party branches of the CWU further strengthened their ideals and beliefs, better understood the original aspiration and mission of the CPC, further clarified the functions of the Party branches and the role of the secretary of the Party branch, improved their ability and deepened their views of education through the training course.
