Teachers and students from China Women's University (CWU) participated in the women militia parade and the choir to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the People's Republic of China on October 1.
Since 1983, all militia women have come from Chaoyang District, in Beijing. This year, there were 352 militia women, including 67 people from the CWU. They participated in the parade regardless of all the difficulties.
After hard training, they turned from young students to highly-disciplined militia women. They passed through Tian'anmen Square and accepted the review of the Party and the country's top leaders in a neat and uniform formation.

After hard training in vocal music, body shaping and physical strength and ideological education, the teachers and students not only fulfilled their tasks, but also understood the historical mission of the youth of the new era and gained a deeper patriotic enthusiasm.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the event, the school leaders set up a special working group and held several meetings to coordinate and promote the progress of the work.
All departments and faculties of the CWU improved their political awareness and sense of responsibility, and fully cooperated in the event, which members of the special working group worked hard to complete.
