Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of China Women's University (CWU), gave a lecture for Party members on November 5.
Li said that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) highlighted that it is necessary to raise the moral quality of the people and the moral level of society to a new height.
He pointed out that Xi Jinping Thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era is a guiding ideology that all Party members and the country must adhere to for a long time, and that ideological and political courses should guide students with it.
Li urged members of the university to abide by both civic morality, especially political morality, and professional ethics at all times. Party members should keep firmly in mind the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment.
Party members should strengthen their confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics. They should also resolutely uphold the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core and the CPC Central Committee's authority and its centralized, unified leadership.
At the meeting, representatives of Party members of the university shared their understanding of the lecture.
