Poem Show by Students in Women's Colleges Pays Tribute to Motherland

"My Motherland and I," a special show of a poetry declamation culture season was held at Shantou University (SU), in South China's Guangdong Province, on December 14.
The show's participants are all from the China Women's University League (CWUL) which is an alliance of women's universities and colleges in China.
Teams from the China Women's University (CWU), the SU, Shandong Women's University, Hunan Women's University and five other women's colleges participated in the show, declaiming the poems to pay tribute to our great Party, country and times and to show their love for the motherland.

Ge Lan, founder of the declamation culture season and a famous broadcasting artist in China, attended the event and gave a high appraisal of the teams.
Liu Wenhua, Vice-President of the SU, and Zhao Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the CWU, delivered speeches at the event.

By declaiming the poems, young students told touching stories of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives to establish the People's Republic of China.
