CWU Holds Meeting to Study, Implement the Spirit of the Key Session

China Women's University (CWU) on November 19 held a meeting to study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and better continue with the ongoing education campaign themed "Staying True to Our Founding Mission."

Ding Maozhan, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee and the National Academy of Governance, gave a report. Ding interpreted the spirit of the key session from four aspects — the institution and birth of its major decisions, the achievements and advantages of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the arduous task of institutional construction, and the importance of the CPC leadership in the national system of governance, through the history of China and the CPC, his decade-long research in international governance systems and capacity for governance, and his involvement in the draft of documents for the CPC Central Committee.

Moreover, Ding made full use of a number of examples, data and graphics to help the teachers and students deepen their understanding of the spirit of the key session.

Li Mingshuan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, and Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, attended the lecture. Zhao Hao, Member of the Standing Committee of the CWU's Party Committee, presided over the gathering.
