CWU Makes All-Out Efforts in Fighting Against COVID-19

The logistics management department of the China Women's University (CWU) has made all-out efforts to fight against the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) since the CWU takes measures of the epidemic prevention and control.
The staff members of the department purchased 120 bottles of disinfection supplies, 20 kilograms of 84 disinfectant, two temperature-checking devices and 500 masks for the international students and staff members on duty on January 22.
The public facilities, such as the corridors, stairs, toilets, elevators, doors and windows, dormitories and classrooms and garbage station are disinfected twice a day. Rubbishes from the isolation areas are sorted and treated separately.
The staff members open windows twice a day to ventilate all the classrooms and public areas. All the detailed information of disinfection in elevators is open to the public.

Stricter standards and more frequent disinfection are carried out in canteen.
Affordable fruit and free delivery of daily necessities are provided to the students.
The canteen manager communicates with students in WeChat groups, listening to their suggestions. A notebook is available to record their demands.
The staff members of canteen also deliver meals to the students in isolation and international students' dormitories.
Leaders and staff members of the department work on their posts in shifts 24 hours a day, handling epidemic prevention and control work and any emergencies.
The medical workers in the university conduct the health observation, and supervise the routine disinfection.
The power, water and heat are supplied safely on campus to ensure the operation of all facilities in the campus.
The department also offered training on safety to drivers, teaching them how to sterilize and ventilate the vehicles.
The trashes are cleared up to improve the hygiene conditions.
