CWU Sends Wishes to Foreign Students Ahead of International Women' Day

Liu Liqun, President of the China Women's University (CWU), and Wang Jingxia, Vice-President of the CWU, visited and brought their care and wishes to the foreign students of the university on March 6, as International Women's Day which falls on March 8 annually approaches. They also conveyed the greetings from leaders of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF).

Liu inquired about the life and study of the foreign students, adding that the university is very concerned about their studies, life, physical and mental health, as well as their personal safety, and is willing to offer all possible assistance to them during such a tough period.

Liu thanked the foreign students for their support to the epidemic prevention and control work of the university, and praised them that they participated in the publicity of the epidemic prevention and control of the university and the country. She also expressed her expectations to the students that they should protect themselves well and study hard.

Liu and other faculty members on duty on that day presented the students with special gifts such as eco-friendly handbags with the logo of the university, notebooks and mini speakers, suggesting that they can relax through listening to music and talking with their family members.

Liu also sent e-cards to the foreign students on behalf of the CWU through their WeChat group.

The students expressed their gratitude to the university for its care and support, and they thanked the ACWF for its concern, adding that they will study hard and support the Chinese people in the anti-virus fight.
