Cai Shumin Inspects Kindergarten's Safety Work

Cai Shumin, Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), inspected the work, especially safety work, at the experimental kindergarten affiliated to China Women's University (CWU) on September 27, as a new semester started.

Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, and Wang Jingxia, Vice-President of the CWU, also participated in the inspection tour.

Accompanied by Hu Hua, principal of the kindergarten, Cai inspected the children's learning and living environment, and visited the lower-grade children who just entered the kindergarten in September.

Hu introduced the kindergarten's basic situation, education concepts, the implementation of its life-oriented curriculum, and epidemic containment work, especially the safety work and the difficulties it encountered.

Cai praised the achievements of the kindergarten in recent years, and she pointed out that children are the future of the country. These children will enter the university by 2035 and devote themselves to a new round of the building of the country.

"The period of kindergarten is critical for children's growth," Cai said. "We need to provide a better environment to them so that they can live safely and healthily."

Cai suggested continuing to maintain close contact with the Party and the government and public security organs, improving the faculty members' safety awareness and their ability to deal with emergencies, and doing the work related to children's safety, epidemic containment and food safety.

She noted that "safe work is the bottom line" and efforts must be made to ensure the absolute safety of every child.

Liu said that the CWU attaches great importance to the kindergarten's work, and the CWU helps the kindergarten solve its difficulties in time. The CWU and the kindergarten will follow the work requirements of the ACWF, to work together ensuring "zero problems" in the kindergarten's safety work.

Hu expressed her gratitude to Cai for her concern and guidance on the kindergarten's safety work. With the support of the ACWF and the CWU, the kindergarten will continue to do a good job in the safety work.
