Li Mingshun Gives a Lecture at CWU's Spare-Time Party School

The 69th elementary class of the Spare-time Party school of the China Women's University (CWU) opened at the university's North Campus on October 6, 2020.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party committee of the CWU, gave a lecture with the theme of promoting the great spirit of combating the COVID-19 epidemic and striving to be young people capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.

Teachers and students at the North Campus attended the lecture online and offline.

Li led the students in a review of the fight against the epidemic, emphasizing that Chinese people showed the great spirit of combating the COVID-19 under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

Li also asked the students to understand, learn and practice the great spirit mentioned by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the meeting commending role models in China's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic on September 8. The features of the great spirit were summarized as: putting people's lives first, nationwide solidarity, sacrifice, respecting science and a sense of mission for humanity.

Li noted that the students should cultivate good characters and strive to be young people capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation.

The participants said that they had deepened their understanding of the great spirit of combating the COVID-19 through the lecture, and they vowed to practice the great spirit in study and life.
