The China Women's University (CWU) held the opening ceremony for class of 2020 on September 22.
Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, Wang Jingxia and Wang Lian, vice-presidents of the CWU, and Zhao Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, attended the opening ceremony. Ren Cuiru, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of the CWU, presided over the ceremony.

The ceremony drew its curtain for the National Anthem. The students from the CWU, who had participated in the choir and women militia parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on October 1, 2019, performed at the ceremony.

Liu delivered a speech at the ceremony. She noted that it is crucial for students to accumulate knowledge, develop skills and form values in the university, which laid a solid foundation for their all-round and lifelong development.
