A research team of the China Women's University & ACWF Executive Leadership Academy (CWU) conducted an investigation tour of Bao'an District in Shenzhen City, South China's Guangdong Province, on November 13, 2020. A scientific research and practical teaching base for women and children's rights protection was officially established in the district by the CWU during the field research. Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, and leaders of Shenzhen Women's Federation and the district's women's federation attended the opening ceremony.
Ma Hong, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and President of Shenzhen Women's Federation, highlighted in her remarks that the establishment of the base testifies that the progress in women and children's rights protection in Shenzhen and its Bao'an District has been acknowledged, and it provides a hard-earned opportunity for the city to promote women and children's development with the help of the CWU's think-tank platform. Ma hopes that the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the reform and development of the women's federations, striving to help enhance women and children's sense of gain, happiness and security.
Liu spoke highly of the efforts made by the women's federations in Shenzhen in protecting local women and children's rights, and the achievements of Bao'an in promoting the establishment of the first intelligent mediation system for family disputes and emotional disputes in China.
