CWU Urges Young People to Learn Party History During Their Visit to Zhejiang

The Party Committee of China Women's University & ACWF Executive Leadership Academy (CWU) holds a Party history-related training class for its young people from April 22 to 25, 2021, in Jiande City, East China's Zhejiang Province.

At the opening ceremony, Zhao Hao, Deputy Secretary of the CWU Party Committee, pointed out that Jiande was the first city with which the ACWF Executive Leadership Academy signed a cooperation agreement. Zhao emphasized that the training class would focus on implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on women's development and dedicate to training women cadres and fostering character and civic virtues. She also called for efforts to make good use of revolutionary resources, and to improve trainees' knowledge and skills.

The trainees visit Xin'an River Hydropower Station in Jiande City, East China's Zhejiang Province.

The trainees then visited a national women's modern agricultural science and technology demonstration base in Lianhua Town, a national women's patriotism education base in Qianhe Village, Xin'an River Hydropower Station and Songkou Village, a demonstration site for rural civilization, to lean about the entrepreneurial spirit of local women and the spirit of their self-reliance and hard work.

The trainees investigate Yucun Village, Anji County, Huzhou City, East China's Zhejiang Province.

On April 25, the group visited Yucun Village in Anji County, Huzhou City — where President Xi Jinping had come up with the famous line that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets — to feel the charm of local scenery and the achievements of the rural revitalization program.

After theoretical study and field research, the attendees were divided into five teams for in-depth discussions and exchanges.
