CWU Promotes Party History Learning and Education

China Women's University & ACWF Executive Leadership Academy holds a meeting to promote Party history learning and education campaign on March 23, 2021.

China Women's University & ACWF Executive Leadership Academy (CWU) highlighted studying and implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on Party history learning and education at a meeting on March 23, 2021.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, made a speech to mobilize Party cadres to comply with the unified deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the specific arrangements of the Leading Party Members' Group of the All-China Women's Federation and to support the campaign as a top priority throughout 2021.

To ensure the effects of studying the Party's history, understanding its theories, doing practical work and making new advances, Li put forward requirements for CWU teachers and students.

Li stressed studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on women's cause and education. He urged carrying forward the traditions of revolutionary times and of the CWU to promote the training of high-quality women's federation cadres.

Li demanded further comprehension of Marxist Feminist theory, holding to the law of historical development and trends, and developing in-depth understanding of the CPC's nature and purpose.

He also urged Party cadres and CWU teachers and students to create a new chapter in the reform and development of the CWU to greet the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC with outstanding achievements.

Zhao Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, presided over the meeting.

Ren Cuiru, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of the CWU, conveyed the ACWF's requirements on Party history learning and education.

Li Songlin, a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Marxism of Capital Normal University, explained the background and connotations of Xi Jinping's important speeches, providing guidance for the faculty and students in the CWU to understand the century-old Party history.

Wang Jingxia, Wang Lian and Zhou Yingjiang, vice-presidents of the CWU, also attended the meeting.
