CWU Holds Graduation Ceremony for 2022 Graduates

The China Women's University (CWU) held its graduation ceremony on July 4, honoring this year's graduates and conferring degrees.

Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the CWU, delivers a speech at the ceremony via video link.

Li extended his congratulations to all the graduates, and encouraged them to grow into a new generation who are needed by the Party and the country, and strive to become builders of the great cause, advocates of civilized social conduct and strivers who pursue their dreams.

During her speech, Liu hailed the graduates' self-discipline for their online study and their voluntary services amid the COVID-19 epidemic. She highly appreciated their performances at the celebration activities marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and their voluntary services during the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Liu also called on the graduates to contribute to national rejuvenation and women's development and fulfill their aspirations.

Wang Lian, Vice-President of the CWU, announced the resolution to award degrees to this year's graduates. The university granted 87 master's degrees and 1,253 bachelor's degrees.
