Pan Li, President of the Transport and Publicity Committee under the China Federation of Radio and Television Associations (CFRTA), headed a three-person delegation in a visit to China Women's University (CWU) on October 19, to discuss how to better manage academic organizations and carry out the work in an effective way.

During the symposium, Liu extended a warm welcome to the delegation, and she hoped to deepen bilateral cooperation on a wide range of issues.

Zhou Yingjiang, Vice-President of the CWU, briefed the delegation on the CWU and the Women's Education Committee under the Chinese Women's Research Society.

Pan shared his views and proposals on how to promote the building and development of the Women's Education Committee in terms of discipline construction, industrial services, international communication and the role of think tanks at the symposium.

The two sides also discussed about the operating mechanism of the associations, the integration between academic research and practical work, cadre training and international talent exchanges.

In her closing remarks, Liu stressed that the CWU should focus on women's development, integrate and make full use of all types of resources, deepen integrated development of women's higher education, women cadres' training and international students' education, and strive to build a first-class women's university and national-level training institute.
