Since the compilation of excerpts from discourses by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on the work related to women and children, as well as the work of women's federations, was recently published, women's federations' cadres, and women from all walks of life, have been greatly inspired and encouraged. The inspiration and encouragement have sparked a wave of studying and implementing the spirit of the book. 

The book has generated a strong response from women, who say the book provides fundamental guidance to advance the cause of women and children. The women vow to study the core principles and rich connotations of the book, thoroughly, and to contribute to the advancement of Chinese modernization.

"The book has provided answers to a series of important issues concerning the development of women and children, and the work of the women's federations, and it has pointed out the way forward for women's work in the new era," Wang Fang, President of Inner Mongolia Women's Federation, says.

Cong Zhongxiao, a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th Executive Committee of the All-China Women's Federation and Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Children's Center, says, "We should study and implement the spirit of the compilation, establish family values of the new era, attach importance to the building of family culture, establish good family traditions, and lead a new trend of family civilization. We should emphasize family moral education and guide parents to cultivate children's good ideas, conduct and habits."

"I will lead women's federations' cadres, and women from all walks of life, in studying and implementing the spirit of the publication, and I will guide women in contributing to the building of a modern socialist country, in all respects," Liu Chunxiang, President of Ganzhou Women's Federation, says.

Says Yang Ying, a member of the Executive Committee of Hainan Women's Federation and president of Rose Valley Industrial Development Co., Ltd.: "I will study and implement the spirit of the book, strive to make new achievements in developing the rose-planting business and agricultural-tourism industry, and create more employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for more women."

Zheng Jie, deputy director of the Party Building Department of Shaanxi Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration, says she has been greatly inspired by Xi's important discourses, and adds she will work hard in her post and make greater achievements in the new era, and on the new journey.  

"The publication fully embodies the cordial care of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and the CPC Central Committee, for women and children. I will study the spirit of the compilation, effectively implement the Women's Action for Rural Vitalization campaign, create platforms and opportunities for women to develop rural industries, participate in rural governance and promote social civility in rural areas," says Pan Ping, deputy director of Daye Rural Revitalization Bureau in Daye, in Central China's Hubei Province.
