Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), led a Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation during its visit to Algeria from December 20 to 22.

The delegation met with representatives of the Algerian Parliament, the National Liberation Front (FLN) and the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family Affairs and the Status of Women. The two sides exchanged views on concrete measures to implement the important consensus reached by the State leaders of the two countries and to deepen relations between the two countries and their parties.

The delegation outlined Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, while explaining the progress made in the cause of women and children in the new era as well as in building the family, family education and virtues.

The representatives of Algeria expressed their country's willingness to participate in the development of the Belt and Road Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative. They also expressed their willingness to continuously deepen exchanges and cooperation between the parties and women of the two countries.
