Students from the National Police University for Criminal Justice paid a visit to rural children for the second time in Shunping County of North China's Hebei Province on April 13.
In July 2023, China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF), Baoding Women's Federation, the Publicity Department of Shunping County Committee of Communist Party of China (CPC), Shunping Women's Federation, and Shunping County Committee of the Communist Youth League of China jointly kicked off a public welfare activity in Shunping to safeguard the healthy growth of rural children and enrich their lives during the summer holiday.
Thirty children whose parents work away from home and those who live in difficulties received love packages that consisted of stationery, basketballs, schoolbags and books.

In addition, 14 college student volunteers from the National Police University for Criminal Justice provided the children with holiday safety training and participated in painting and sports activities with them.
The public welfare activity has allowed rural children to receive social assistance, forge friendship with college student volunteers, and further expand their horizons.

At the greeting ceremony on April 13, the children presented college student volunteers self-made gifts to convey their happiness and gratitude.
The volunteers and children played games, made bookmarks, and enjoyed the idyllic beauty of blossoming peach flowers in the field.
The children said that they will study hard to enter their ideal universities and make contribution to society when they grow up. The volunteers said that they will continue to pay attention to the healthy growth of those children and provide them with necessary assistance.
