Fulfilling Responsibilities, Fostering New Perspectives on Family

 September 26, 2024

To thoroughly study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to implement the guiding principles of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a training course was held from August 6-9, 2024, for members of executive committees of women's federations (above county level).

The course was intended to help executive members of women's federations foster new perspectives on family, in the new era, and to help them improve their ability to fulfill their responsibilities. The executive members are expected to meet women's demands through sensible and accessible services, and to contribute to the high-quality development of family related work in the new era.

Experts, from China Women's University and China Youth University of Political Studies, gave lectures on how to implement the discourses of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, on women and children, the work of women's federations, and on the fostering of stronger family ties, values and traditions. Representatives of the Department of Family and Children's Affairs of the All-China Women's Federation, and representatives of Beijing No. 2 Experimental Primary School, taught attendants how to conduct practical work relevant to families.

Many of the trainees said the course helped them strengthen their sense of responsibility, especially in advancing the causes of women and children.
